About Adalton
Adalton dos Anjos Fonseca is a professor of Journalism at the Southwest Bahia State University (UESB), Brazil. He holds a PhD in Communication and Contemporary Culture from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He is also a research associate at Cidacs/Fiocruz Bahia, where he is responsible for the Public Engagement with Science area. His work at Cidacs involves developing research and practices in public engagement with science in health research based on large-scale integrated data. His main research interests include science communication and dissemination, public engagement with science, and innovation in journalism, with a focus on strengthening dialogue between science, media, and society.
